Project Description

This was an extension to an existing Warehouse. Challenge was to retain the existing building while integrating the new addition to it by integrating into the Services so as to make them function as a Whole. The Warehouse addition was conceptualized as a sloping roof structure abutting the existing flat roofed RC structure. The requirement was for a high volume space for vertical stacking with high docking areas both at the front and rear sides to cater to the constant flow of incoming and outgoing packages. An existing large Peepul tree alongwith an Electric sub-station made the layout planning challenging. A vertical extension at the 2^nd floor level is planned to happen in the future.
